Bonnie Lou is a hairstylist, blogger, and emerging author. Throughout her life, writing has been her one constant. She began keeping journals and writing poetry as a teenager and later studied creative writing in community college. She began writing her blog THE JOURNEY CONTINUES, back in 2011 when her husband, Scott was diagnosed with ALS. After he passed in 2012, she went on to write about grief, loss and healing while raising her two boys on her own.
Long before she was married to Scott, she was married to another man, Richard Marc Evonitz, who later turned out to be a serial killer. In June 2024, she gained over 38 Million views when she posted her “Put a finger down if you can relate” video where she shared her story about finding out she was married to a serial killer. It soon gained attention and she now has over 240K followers and 7M likes on her Tik Tok account and 57K followers on Instagram all excited to hear more about her story which she has written about in her first book, WALKING OUT: MY UNKNOWING ESCAPE.
